Sometimes you just need a tool that gets the job done, plain and simple. The Lago is our version of a pure workhorse knife that has been designed to offer as much versatility and comfort as possible. This is the second knife in the CJRB series that features a MANUAL button-lock , allowing for smooth, easy deployment and closing.
The drop point blade is perfect for tackling a wide variety of tasks from the small to the rigorous. The Lago was made to be a daily user first and foremost and it will deliver the cutting power that you need, every time you need it.
Black PVD AR-RPM9 Powder Steel
The Blade is made from our proprietary AR-RPM9 which gives it exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance so your blade will stay sharp longer and sharpen up quickly with a few passes on a stone.
Button Lock
With all the Button Lock love that we have seen over the last year we are very happy to offer the Lago with a button lock system that we have made more robust, allowing for heavier use and greater overall durability while still remaining smooth, easy, and safe to operate all while offering a strong lockup that will satisfy any user.
Blade Thickness
The Lago features a razor thin 0.11” thick blade stock which allows this knife to glide effortlessly through cuts with incredible accuracy. Coupled with the slim handles and aggressive milling the thin stock also helps to significantly cut down the overall weight of the knife.
Easy Carry
Comfortable carry is a huge part of the Lago’s design, this knife features a two-position deep-carry pocket clip that disappears in any pants pocket and firmly affixes the knife in place. We’ve also included a full-size lanyard hole for those who prefer to use lanyards. This will allow for full compatibility with 550 cord or similarly sized materials.
G10 Handles
The Lago features a set of heavily textured G10 scales set on full steel liners, giving it exceptional grip and rigidity in hand. The rounded shape of the handle allows a comfortable fit in even the largest hands or while wearing thick gloves. This knife is meant to fill the hand and provide a stable grip even when working in uncertain circumstances.
Cutting Profile
As we have designed the Lago to be an ideal work knife, we wanted to make sure that the Blade shape could do as much work as possible while still staying strong and durable. For this purpose, we’ve chosen a distinctive low drop point style blade that allows for easy tip-work as well as great slicing capabilities. The high flat grind allows this knife to easily glide through material and the thin blade stock helps to reduce drag, creating a blade that can be used comfortably all day with no need apply additional force to cuts. And to top everything off we have included a full-sized finger choil to allow the user to choke up on the blade for more detailed work.
