The 5” Utility Knife is an all-encompassing, extremely versatile blade which will complete most everyday kitchen tasks with ease. Made from German chromium-molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel, the Utility Knife’s hand-finished blade features a tapered grind for a sharper overall cut, while extra balance is provided by a through-tang construction combined with a curved handle and forged bolster. The blade also features indentations along each side to prevent food from sticking to it while cutting. The slightly curved handles in the Equilibrium Series are designed to encourage a rocking motion while cutting, a method popular among professional chefs. The Rockingham Forge Equilibrium Series is NOT dishwasher safe. We recommend handwashing and instantly drying the blades to maintain their optimal quality.
