Our beefy ABS plastic molded housing handle not only offers a decent weight in hand but also rust-resistant. The barre inside is stainless steel and each notch/position of the blade holder locks in smoothly and definitively.
18mm SK2 Blade: Razor sharp black blade easily slicing through paper, cardboard or cut through boxes. Two spare blades are stored inside each knife casing in a secure slide-out holder. The end cap which is also the blade breaker conceals the extra blades. Snap of the dull tip section of the blade with the end cap and a fresh blade section is exposed.
The Push-Button Positioning Mechanism: Slide the blade out at desired length then remove thumb and the blade will lock firmly in place. The in-use blade locking/sliding lever locks the blade in any extended position without the need to fumble with a manual latch. Slide the blade back in for storage after use.
Orange Safety Latch: To prevent unwanted protrusion of the knife blade in your pocket or tool bag, fully retract the blade and then slide the orange lock to the molded slot to prohibit blade movement. It keeps the blade fully retracted and no sliding out when not in use. Extra protection for family with kids or hand-searching in the tool drawer.
